Tracciato itinerario cicloturistico trentino arco ponte romano

Cycling Itineraries in Trentino Alto Adige: From Arco to Ponte Romano (Ceniga) via the Sarca Valley

The journey begins at the REMOOVE headquarters, taking you through Arco's picturesque historic centre. As you leave the town, the route immerses you in the Sarca Valley's characteristic natural landscape, with the path winding along the riverbank.
One of the highlights is the "Roman Bridge" at Ceniga. Here, an inlet from the river invites the more adventurous to enjoy a refreshing swim. The return trip along the opposite bank offers breath-taking views of the globally famous rocky cliffs, a haven for climbers.
The trail is clear of longitudinal obstacles, with the occasional posts placed at safe intervals for cyclists. The terrain is predominantly flat, featuring a maximum gradient of 6% on a short stretch.

Points of interest

The historic centre of Arco showcases diverse urban architecture. The recently renovated cycle path along the lakes and the eastern bank of the River Sarca invites cyclists to pause for a picnic or a relaxing break.
Read the information on the signs along the route to discover how life and work in the valley have developed around the river.
