Cycle Itineraries in Veneto: Padova Urbs Pictae
Here is an itinerary conceived by REMOOVE on the occasion of the "domeniche ecologiche 2020" (ecological Sundays 2022) to promote the newly named Urbs Picta (which means Painted City). This route determines a cycle link among the stunning UNESCO sites of the "Città del Santo". Starting from Piazza delle Erbe, you proceed towards the old town alleys until you reach Riviera San Benedetto; from here, the itinerary follows the circumnavigation of the walls reaching Prato Della Valle, the Basilica of Sant'Antonio, the Botanical Gardens up to the historical centre along Via del Santo. The last stops are the Museo degli Eremitani and its Church and the Cappella Degli Scrovegni. Riding mainly on "30 km/h" roads and short stretches of cycle path, this Tour is enjoyable all year round.
